Watercrest Naples, one of our local assisted living facilities, collected non-perishable food items for St. Vincent de Paul Society as their Act of Kindness in February. The end of the food drive was celebrated with a mixer at which the Watercrest staff hosted a networking opportunity for local business representatives.
Their newest residents, Mr. Richard and his wife Clara Peters were active in St. Vincent de Paul for many years in their home town of North Port serving as President and Vice President. Both say they were blessed to have given back to so many families and were even more thrilled to work with Watercrest on behalf of their beloved St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Together with their family, volunteer team members and guests the Watercrest lobby was stuffed with food for those in need, which was delivered to the SVdP Family Assistance Center a couple days later.
